Day Cruise Fares Day cruise fares between Bar Harbor and Yarmouth are round-trip and require return on the same day. Day cruise fares between Portland and Yarmouth allow a return the next day. To qualify for a Weekend fare between Portland and Yarmouth, passengers must return within 64 hours. Bay Ferries Limited is advising all customers that due to increasing world oil prices, a fuel surcharge has been levied for the 2008 sailing season. Current surcharge rates are $25 per vehicle each way; $15 per motorcycle each way. The fuel surcharge does not apply to bicycles. This surcharge will be adjusted in accordance with fluctuations in the world oil markets.
